I just finished 30 Bangs a couple of minutes ago. To be honest, I think it was a little short in general and the stories lacked some details. The most awesome read actually is the adventure with that Brazilian chick, which is really taken from Dead Bat in Paraguay.

All in all, having read Bang (awesome!), Daybang (even more awesome!) and Dead Bat (honest!), I enjoyed seeing the game principles outlined in Roosh´s instructionals used in real life. Just some more detail (and/or ten more bangs) would have been great.

Loved the book. Downside was, was that I finished it too quickly! I found myself fiending for more fun bang situations to what trouble you'd find yourself in next. I think it took away from the analytical and self reflective nature that Bang and Day Bang allowed for. Instead of envisioning myself like I did in those books, I felt like I was just along for the ride in this one. I will go back and read it a second time to allow myself to envision making the moves when confronted by a similar situation you found yourself in.

Additionally, and perhaps this could be some fodder for your next book, but I'd love to read a book titled 30 (Not) Bangs. I think looking at failure and the missteps you've taken could be just as important as the correct steps you did take. Looking at it from failure's point of view could allow for introspection as to why something failed and think about steps as to how it could have improved. I love to hear advice from others who can reflect on the mishaps which led them to future success.

I sometimes have that problem during sex.

I'm already using some of the ideas.

The most important one is take every encounter with a girl as far as you can.

This sounds overly risky, but the _variability_ in women's openness you you is HUGE HUGE HUGE. Did I mention huge?

This girl was making eye contact with me like a dozen times today. 30+ years younger than me.

I finally went over and just started talking to her, no fucking pretense,
me: "do you speak English?"
her: "no"
me: [in Russian:]" Oh that's not true , you know some.} violating all body language rules, was leaning in/over talking to her.
She was sweet, girlish and interested. I didn't go for the number, but I should have.

On the other hand, a girl can cue and then be a total bitch, if you push you find out faster and next her.

SAVING TIME. Best lesson. Bravo Roosh. Your time is absolutely, inalterably limited. No changing the deal, ever.

Push early and often.

To the gentlemen who have already read 30 Bangs.

In what order would you suggest reading Roosh's three big books? I wouldn't say I'm a newbie, but my bar/nightclub/day game is almost non-existent (I clean up on online game thought, but mainly 6s and 7s).

Thanks in advance.

don't think it matters much, each seems to emphasize a different thing,
I found day bang the most useful as it helps with non-committal conversation so you avoid the confrontational blowouts.

Will this book ever be part of a "mega-pack" i.e. buy together with all the other books?

I'm asking because i'm planning to get a kindle and want to just get all the books in one shot.

Feel free to PM me for wine advice or other stuff

I'd definitely read BANG first, then DAY BANG if you're at a point where you really want to get into day game, then follow it up with 30 BANGS. Which book you read second probably isn't that important, but I think day game takes a bit more focus, commitment, and motivation, so you might want to put it on the back burner, till you get your night game on point.

My 2 cents.

i think dead bat first to get to know roosh better and understand where he's coming from, and then bang and day bang and then 30 bangs.

Hey,

Thanks guys for your input: I decided to purchase the mega pack seeing that it only cost $24. I'm going to start reading Bang tonight, and am going out with a wing on Friday night. I'm scared shitless about approaching but want to get this part of my life handled (instead of resorting to social networking and internet game).

See you on the other side.

This is good, plus Dead bat is an awesome book.

I really enjoyed the book. I Had a similar problem to most people here, it was a good read and ended too quickly. I would have paid more money for more pages. I would have been more interested to hear about every bang of rooshes up until this day. If he wrote a paragraph about 1 bang that would be ok. I'm just very curious to see what type of ways he met girls at first, how that evolved, and what it is like right now after all these years of experience.

I consider myself quite an objective person, I do not really have anything negative to write about Roosh's books in general. Some of his posts I haven't agreed with in the past. However I have always enjoyed his wrings writings, so perhaps that may make me biased?

Overall I enjoyed the business like tone, spare of flowery language (George Orwell influence?) with Roosh's trademark dry delivery which had me chuckling on every story.

One thing really does stand out. Some guys may consider Roosh a super-player with Zeus-like pickup skills, who employs Jedi-mind tricks to bed countless women. But these stories do not differ from my experiences in the game. The trivial bullshit you have to put up with in order just to get to the end goal of bedding a woman, and hoops you have to jump through for 30 minutes of mediocrity. In the end we still come back for more. Same shit, different player. It's also interesting to see his progression in skill throughout the book.

The book was not instructional in manner, as with Day Bang and Bang and more of a narrative as A Dead Bat in Paraguay in order for each guy to take his own lessons from the stories, which is cool. However I was left with the feeling at the end of each one - 'What lesson did Roosh learn here?' He has taken steps to describe these in some of the narratives, for instance in story 13 the Artist:

“It was my first
one-night stand on a weekday, and taught me that regardless of
the night, anything is possible as long as I kept aiming for the
bang.”

I felt if Roosh summed in a kind of 'Lesson Learnt' short passage at the end of each story as with the above example, that would be nice. But perhaps he felt that would take away from the overall message of the book.

I felt like I was there with Roosh in some of the stories and living them with him, as these are scenes familiar to guys throughout the world.

For a newbie guy it reinforces the fact that women's sexuality is not logical in it's nature. It's sometimes absurd, but if you pick apart the interactions you can usually see where you've made your mistakes and work on them, as you did to improve.

For someone intermediate like myself I guess it's reiterated to me who sometimes doesn't see the woods from the trees that my execution doesn't have to be flawless and I can get laid on stupid shit like 'let's go back to mine for peanutbutter sandwiches.'

Recommended read.

Just read 30 bangs this afternoon. Highly entertaining read and enjoyed reading about all the sexcapades. Its interesting to note how much more ruthless you are in the later bangs than in the early ones which I think pretty much every guy can relate who gets into the lifestyle. Not to steal your idea, but the book has also inspired me to write little short stories of my own experiences just as a hobby and to read over and reminisce when I'm probably stuck in some boring LTR down the road.

Very funny collection of anecdotes about 30 of Roosh's bangs. I LOL'd a few times. Much of the book is pure entertainment with light references to the game strategy that was employed. I would recommend it for the entertainment value more than being a "guide" on how to get laid.

If you've already got game, then you'll enjoy the book even more. If anything, you'll be more inspired to get on your grind with these chicks. Banging different girls is fun.

The e-book is only $5.99 right now.

I ordered 30 Bangs two days ago on Amazon. I've already read it three times. The idea of presenting case studies was really unique, interesting, and most of all insanely educational(see story below). I wanted to continue to hone my one night stand game, so I was interested to see how Roosh a guy known for smashing the pussy as quickly as possible proceeded. I was not disappointed.

I found that reading through the stories gave me a quite a few aha moments regarding my current game. It was like previous situations would flash before me and I'd realize where I went wrong. For the past few years I have been doing well leaning hot and cold at times. One area where I have been consciously trying to improve even more is in the speed and one night stand department.

I thought the stories were sequenced in the right order showing Roosh's progression from newbie to skilled gamesman. The writing is clear and many times I laughed out loud. Roosh did a good job of structuring the stories in a way where it's as if you are there with him analyzing every detail. There are many bangs included from DC, and his South American adventures. So a wide range of women were covered. The only minor criticism I have about the book is that there was not much detail in the end of some of the stories. Some of them seemed to end a little abruptly. However, I believe it's recommended reading for players on this board.

Best of all, it only took me 2 days of reading for me to actually use the knowledge I gained in the book. My bang last night pretty much followed the structure in 30 Bangs almost exactly.

I got a text message from a girl I was talking to online. I was not expecting to meet up with her, but she said that her plans for Friday were cancelled. We set up to meet at 11 for drinks. The only problem, she lives like 40 minutes away and wanted to meet at a bar a few minutes from where she lived. I'll be honest if this was a few years ago, I'd be reluctant to go because I've been in situations like that and I doubted my closing skills. But last night I thought to myself 'Fuck it, with the knowledge I've gained from 30 Bangs anything is possible, I'm shooting for the stars' The week earlier she seemed somewhat horny as well.

So I drive down there and I'm met with this girl who looked quite better than her pictures. She was a brunette ex-volleyball player and tall with great legs that seemed to go on for days. She obviously decided to show them off. We settle into a good conversation and vibe, I'm teasing her and she's laughing at my jokes. Then after a few hours the moment of truth arrives. I tell her I'm worried about driving back because I've had too much to drink. She gives a little resistance saying that she doesn't want me to 'get the wrong impression of her' I plow forward and say that I'd just be crashing on her couch for at most a few hours while I sober up. She agrees and I go to her apartment. From then on, there was a some resistance but I eventually sealed the deal. Whenever I met resistance it was like my mind had a copy of 30 Bangs on file, and I came up with the best response.

All in all a great book, and highly recommended.
