Why I'm Writing This
I am starting this thread in response to the following Islamic terrorist attacks: Manchester, London, Nice, Bataclan, Frankfurt, Brussels, Indonesia, Egypt, Phillipines, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Berlin, Ohio State University, Egypt, Rouen, Ansbach, Wurzburg, Baghdad, Dhaka, Istanbul, Orlando, Nigeria, Somalia, Cameroon, St. Petersburg, San Bernadino, etc. etc. etc.
All within the last few years, all Islamic terror.
We have always been ahead of the curve in social terms. But now, we are more powerful than we have ever been against those who would upend civilization.
Once relegated to the dusty corners of the internet, we now influence modern thought. With the alt-right serving as dedicated scapegoats, the rainmakers at 4chan crafting the weaponized memes and hypercritical investigations that shape the narrative, and the public face of the resistance (/r/the_donald, etc.) legitimizing the movement, our role - if we choose to accept it - is to serve as a hyperintelligent think tank.
We know persuasion. We can bring it to the fight.
Our Enemies
Unfortunately, we are fighting a two-front war. We are fighting against both Islam, and against normies. Two-front wars are difficult. In this case, at least, we can convert the normies to our side. Also, remember, 4chan fought a many-front war against Hillary Clinton and in the end Donald Trump got elected. So, victory is possible. Now, to examine our foes.
Islam is our enemy for obvious reasons. They want to kill the kuffar, convert them, or force them to pay jizya. Simple enough. We don't have to elaborate on this.
The normies are a more subversive enemy. They want to hamstring our efforts to fight against Islam, for their own motivations. We must elaborate on this.
Normies have their own motivations: social recognition, being recognized as 'good', being 'honest' with their beliefs, so on.
Fighting against normies is going to be very different than fighting against Islamists. In both cases, we must proceed with persuasion - but we must attack different weak points in each enemy. In each case we must undermine them at every possible vulnerability.
How To Fight Islamists
Islamists will be vulnerable to methods of persuasion that undermine their motivations to pursue jihad or to practice their religion.
One method that Donald Trump recently pursued is to brand terrorists as 'evil losers'. As opposed to the media's constant reminder that jihadists and terrorists are monsters, a brand that these jihadists and terrorists would love to have stamped on their foreheads, Trump rightly sensed that the way to discourage people from joining their ranks was to remove glory from them.
WE MUST NOT FORGET THIS.
ISIS successfully rebranded themselves shortly after Trump's 'evil losers' interview by getting the media to rubberstamp them as monsters. This must not pass.
One way groups like 4chan can fight terrorism is by doing deep dives into these people's lives and digging up embarrasing facts. Did Ahmed fuck a goat in Afghanistan? Did his brother have a spinal deformity because his parents were related? Did he get caught masturbating in a pool while watching an 11 year old girl in her swimsuit? The entire world needs to know this. This extends to the entire family and their social networks as well. Every ugly secret of the entire family needs to be rooted out and put on display for Google to cache in perpetuity.
If a precedent is set that a terrorist will get shame put upon his family's and friends' heads for generations to come, it will discourage future terror. Make no mistake about it.
Trump was right to call these people 'evil losers'. It's up to the Eye of Sauron (4chan) to dig this stuff up. We need additional assets with Arabic language to spread this to the Arabic-speaking world. But we can start with the English-speaking world.
How To Fight Normies
These subversive bastards can best be summed up by the cuck in the UK restaurant ducking down to avoid gunfire pleading with his fellow victim that 'it wasn't Muslims'. Well, it was Muslims. So, good show, champ. Now let's deal with this like a real civilization.
Fortunately, normies can be converted. The upshot is that terrorists are helping to convert normies by blowing up their friends (see: the central argument against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars). The downside (not actually a downside) is that there simply aren't enough bombs to convert enough people on their own. So we need to engage in memetic warfare.
Instilling cognitive dissonance as often as possible: The #DraftOurDaughters meme near the end of the Crooked Hillary campaign was an absolute masterpiece of persuasion. Viscerally wrong for reasons that nobody could form words against without running afoul of the PC police, the chilling campaign wrought havoc among the memesphere by instilling horrifying cognitive dissonance. People knew something was wrong, but they couldn't exactly put their finger on why.
Reframing: The current meme campaign comparing refugees to Mordor Orcs is another good example. The reframe of 'helpless refugees' to 'invading army force', couched in satirical tones, is sharp enough to sting any leftist who happens to see an inconvenient picture of a boatful of Arabic/African men of military age with nary a woman, child or elder in sight.
Reminders: It's easy to forget the past. What was the fourth most recent terror attack you heard of? You can't remember. Neither can I. Bringing up the wounds of terror attacks of ye.. wait, mon... no, weeks past will stoke fresh anger against them. Does anyone remember the name Ebba Akerlund? Keep reminding them.
ExMuslims: We need to signal boost exMuslims so that people can hear the inside story about the horrors of Islam. Besides the obvious known entities such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali, we also need to boost unknown names to the forefront. https://twitter.com/mohamedmaloof is (so far as I can tell) one such example. We need to give these people a strong platform and a strong voice, and find a way to market that message to normies.
Mobilizing Forces
We also need to collaborate with the individuals and groups that can help us. The_Donald is a 400k-strong (at least) group of redditors, and possibly the most enthusiastic of them all, that collectively detest the fruits of Islam and want to rein it in. 4chan is an esoteric Deck Of Many Things that can help us with the most creative memes and the most intrusive of investigations.
In addition, we have new media resources we can contact. Mike_CF is a former poster here that has gone on to greater things as America's leading investigative journalist, and who was instrumental in getting Trump elected. Paul Joseph Watson and the Infowars crew are rabidly anti-Islam and are on our bandwagon - we can provide them with story material and hot tips where we find them.
In Summary
We can help. Leonard's #collaborator hashtag is one way to fight Islam, by demoralizing the normies who would defend it. But we can - nay, need - to do more, myself included.
