If you're into healthy eating, eating out is probably the worst thing you can do, you don't know what they are putting in the food, the quality of ingredients, most takeout, even those that are seemingly healthy really aren't.
You don't have to be top chef but every guy should learn a few recipes. Also, during warmer months there's really no excuse not to grill and prepare a side of veggies.
I actually enjoy cooking, the cleanup not so much but I like cooking, it saves money and I get to eat healthier.
