About myself/datasheet

I’ve had the luck to be able to spend a full year working and living in Ecuador. Recently named nr.1 country in the world for expats by an internations report, you can imagine I had a good time.
Before going into the specifics it’s important to have an idea who I am, so you can judge my experiences with that in mind. First off all I’m Western European, blondish/green eyes, late 20’s, good build and have about 2 years in the manosphere, although I definitely have some ‘natural’ skills as well. I was bluepill in highschool/early university, but then again who wasn’t. I’ve travelled/lived extensively around the world, so I’m not that easily impressed and I am definitely not shy of risk.
Also important to know is that I was working the whole time in a fairly normal schedule, so 5days a week/8 hours a day. I’m not an incredible energetic person so work definitely limited my gaming possibilities.
In this datasheet, I’ll start by giving an overall overview of the country and then go into the specifics of the woman and the dating scene. In previous datasheets/reports on Ecuador I found a lot of conflicting info. I know now where that comes from and will explain in latter parts. Finally if I find the time, I’ll write some notch reports, since I generally appreciate them myself when reading other datasheets.

Ecuador general

About 12m people, Ecuador is one of the lesser known countries in South America, although for the average tourist it definitely has a lot to offer. It’s recent tourism campaign is focused on the fact that within relatively small distance you can visit the amazon, plenty of beaches, the Andes and off course there is the fourth well known component; the Galapagos. Ecuador is not as poor as Bolivia for instance, but it is still not a very rich country. A true middle income country on a world scale I would say. Inequality was very high and although they have a socialist president, inequality still today remains above average, even in Latin America. Poverty is mainly focused in the rural areas near the Andes and in the Northern coastal province of Esmeraldas.

Cities and places of interest

-Quito: the capital with a population of about 2 million. Situated within the mountains, the city is very stretched out, with nice views and plenty of things to see nearby. It is not always easy to navigate in here, but then again the general tourist limits himself to the Mariscal (nightlife area) or the old town. I lived here, so much of my info is based on life in Quito. Many of the people here are ugly, but due to the size you can still find plenty of hot girls who concentrate in a variety of places, f.i. the Mariscal, Cumabaya, La ronda, … Take a walk around the old town during daytime and you will think Quito houses some of the ugliest people in the world. Go out at night in Cumbaya or other of the upclass places and you will soon realize that there is more than enough potential to be found.

-Guayaquil: the biggest city of the country, a coastal city with tropical temperatures. I don’t know the city well, but as always at the coast, everything is a bit more ‘caliente’; the girls, but also the criminality.

-Cuenca: the ‘prettiest’ city, where many an American retiree come to spend their last days. Well organized, picturesque and safe. However I don’t think it is all that good for RooshV members, as the girls here are not so pretty and it is not the most lively city.

-Riobamba/Ambato/Santo Domingo/…: typical inland medium sized cities. Life is not bad here, but don’t expect anything spectacular. You can go out, there’s shopping malls, enough variety to not get too bored, but they don’t have the attraction of the big cities.

-Manta: cool city at the coast, also medium sized, but with the more relaxed mentality of the coast and more genetic mixes of the girls. If you want to spend some relaxing time, eating well and spending little, enjoying the pretty girls, this city is definitely a good option. Nearby small city ‘Chone’ is rumoured to have the prettiest girls of the country.

-Esmeraldas: the poorest province, home to the majority of the black population of Ecuador. The province has a bad reputation in pretty much everything: underdeveloped, dangerous, etc. However if you like curvy girls, the place can be very good for you. Atacames is a beach resort where people of Quito go to party in the weekends for instance. The most Northern city of San Lorenzo should probably best be avoided. Lots of trafficking, drugs and violence and besides huge mangroves not much to see. If you want to get into Colombia illegally this is the place to be though.

-Montanitas: the biggest party hotspot of the country. Basically what Atacames is to Quito, Montanitas is to Guayaquil, the weekend party spot with nice beaches and many nightclubs. Here you will also find the highest concentration of tourists, many from Argentina by the way. Lots of potheads and surfers as well. Generally a cool place to check out, but I think it can get boring quick.

-Puyo/Tena: from here most people enter the amazon. Small cities with a lot of indigenous factors, nice to check out, but don’t expect big parties here.

Cost of living

Ecuador is cheap, really cheap even. In a small city you can find an apartment in a decent area for about 150-300$, in Quito/Guayaquil more like 400$ and for a nice suite in a topspot you’ll pay up to 500$-700$. Hostels will be around 5-10$/night, a cheap hotel in a nightlife area about 20$ (you’ll pay some 10$ more for bringing a girl back). Anything decent, which you can find on tripadvisor etc. will be from 40$ and up in the big cities.

A lunch is 2$-4$ and this includes a soup (generally with chicken or fish), a small meal and a small desert + a fresh fruit juice. You’ll have eaten from this and the price is nothing to complain for. Dinner is more expensive, 5-6$ in a cheap place and on average perhaps 9-10$. Fastfood is available in the big cities; Mc donalds, KFC, Burger King, etc. but Ecuador has many better and healthier options.

Entry to clubs is generally in the cheaper clubs around 3-6$ (sometimes with a drink included), in the higher class areas 15$ with no drink included. Beer is not that cheap in comparison, maybe 2-3$ in bar, which is almost the same for a Cuba Libra or Vodka orange (3-5$). A real cocktail will be about 7-9$ but often they have 2 for 1 deals.

Important to notice: local girls generally never pay, so don’t expect anything when you ask them out.

Food

I wouldn’t say their cuisine is really good, but one big advantage is that you can eat healthy for relatively cheap. A paleo diet for instance with good quality meat and fish can be followed here, without burning a hole in your pocket. In addition they have really all the fruits you can image for no money. A big milkshake of whatever you like for 1,5$ can be found everywhere.

Many natural cures or traditional medicine are also very easy to find and very cheap. I for instance starting drinking cactus juice. On amazon it was 25-30$/l, here it was 3,5$ and probably better quality as well. Coconut oil/cacao is also local and cheap. Seafood is abundant and once again for no money. A encebollado (fish soup) for 2$ or a ceviche (shrimp or fish soup sort off with lemon and tomato) for 5$. For me one of the best parts of living in Ecuador. Never worry about the food bill.

Transport

Buses are very cheap, but not very good quality. Generally you pay a bit more than 1$ per hour of travelling, but places seemingly nearby on a map can become quite awful rides due to badly maintained buses which stop in every village and can’t generate speed on a uphill highway. Many lethal accidents as well on the mountain roads.

Taxis: Very cheap in the small cities (1$ for a 5-10m ride), in Quito/Guayaquil maybe 2-3$ for 10m, still cheap. Drunk driving is easily avoided like this.
Trains: there’s some in the andes, haven’t tried them but they are mainly focused on tourists and more expensive. Interesting maybe for the scenery.

Flights: flights are ok within the country. You can find intercity flights under a 100$ two ways with TAME and LAN. For flying across borders they become very expensive though, one of the big weaknesses of Latin America!

Danger/Safety

Ecuador has a fairly bad reputation. For me it’s difficult to say anything about this, because although I lived in some pretty bad areas, only once they tried to violently rob me here, which in my opinion is fairly normal for a one year stay. Pickpockets in busses etc. do happen a lot, so def watch out for that. Overall I would say Ecuador is not too dangerous and you should not worry about it too much. When I arrived people continuously told me to not go to several areas and I always did, without big problems. Perhaps I was lucky… or perhaps the people have a culture of fear here. Guayaquil and Esmeraldas are reputed to be the most dangerous. Crimes worse than violent robberies are rare though, kidnappings happen only rarely.

The people in general

I found the people in Ecuador to be great. Most are very modest, good people, willing to help out or to assist you in any way. Arrogance is almost non-existent here. Envy is more common, but nothing to really worry about. I feel that generally a lot of people still somewhat look up to gringos/extranjeros, so you will be quite popular here. Racism exists mostly towards the blacks from Esmeraldas but also towards Colombians, which are perceived as criminals and prostitutes by Ecuadorians. People tend to be reasonably social, not in a forceful way, but just polite. They will make small chat and if you approach someone on the street, you will get a normal answer.

Ecuadorian women/dating

Now we arrive at the more interesting parts. Ecuadorian woman, a theme of controversy on the forum, and here is why. The women from the mountains are generally ugly; flat asses, short, strange faces, … nothing to write home about. So if you go to the inland cities or the villages you won’t find too much resembling general accepted beauty. However, immigration and mainly the mixes with Colombia and black people from Esmeraldas have made Ecuador well worth my while.

In general in Ecuador you have almost zero competition. The guys are not very physically blessed and all women agree on this. On top of that they tend to be quite macho and possessive with their women, which they dislike. Many Ecuadorian girls thus do not just see you as an interesting foreigner with a better quality of life, but also as a welcome alternative to their own men: physically and mentally. Physically you will be on average taller, better build and with a nicer facial build. If you happen to be blond, green/blue eyes, etc. you will kill it here. Mentally they will see you as a liberal man, who is easy-going and up for adventure, exciting and more open-minded/intelligent.

Then take into account this fact, along with the existence of very pretty mixed woman, the body of a black girl with the face of an indigenous girl for instance. The Colombian influx and realize that you are most likely eligible to go directly for the top 5% of women. These woman resemble what you see in posts of Medellin/Cali. There are not that many of them, but they are there and they are available.
If you live at the coast or in Quito, you will enter a club and an abundance of these high quality and willing girls will be available for you, especially if you have some game on top of that as well. The Ecuadorian guys will be outplayed.

What kind of game works in Ecuador?

Generally the type of game that should work in every healthy society. That of men of value. Men with a good job, intelligent, decent looking and well behaved can do well here. Only rarely did I find the need to aggressively neg or ignore girls (with the hottest I guess). In general, just show up, be nice to friends and family, don’t be too weird and the girls are yours. Peacocking you never see here, so no idea if it would work, I don’t think it will be that important, you are probably better off with some nice dress clothes.

Social validation is offcourse important, but I guess that that is universal. As a foreigner people will 'know' about your sooner than you think, you can play that to your advantage.

Many girls here are christian, but this doesn't seem to withold them from sleeping around. Sometimes a girl told me she had to be back at a certain hour for her family, but I wouldn't say this is more common than in western world.

Internet game: I used mainly badoo which is used everywhere and Tinder, only in the bigger cities.

Nightlife game can be a bit harder if you are not too balsy, because most clubs are not made for going out solo or approaching single girls. Girls in most cases will go out in groups in which some guys pay the bill. This way they tend to stick to the group, so you would have to aggressively enter. Guys in general are not aggressive though, so in many cases they would not mind too much as long as it is not their girlfriend.

I, myself am not too big on day game but in the big cities you have plenty of parks and malls. In the smaller cities this is an issue.

Dancing is very important!! If you can dance, you are a lucky man. Unfortunately I am a shitty dancer (although I do try, which is important). At times I refused to dance salsa or merengue with a girl and this will leave them completely in shock. People here see no reason why anyone would not want to dance. You embarrass the girl in front of her friends/family when you refuse to dance. They do not understand that for a European/american, salsa is something very new and strange and that choreographed dancing is not something we see as cool. This had led to many awkward situations for me. Unfortunately, since everyone already knows how to dance from childhood, not many people are good teachers either. For me personally, Latin music is pretty shitty, I feel absolutely nothing for it, but even then, I hope to one day become a good salsa dancer. It is just that much of a plus in these countries.

Drinking I found to be a lot less than in Europe, North America. People in general just don’t have the money to get completely shitfaced 2 times a week. Girls in this regard will be thankful for you buying drinks and will also get drunk quicker. Drugs are also quite rare. There might be a lot of trafficking, but not too many people using, although they are dirt cheap.

Living in a third tier city

A large portion of my time in Ecuador I spent living in a city with between 100.000-200.000 people. A city known as a ghetto somewhat, unattractive, no one goes there. I won’t mention the name, since if anyone would be looking for it and find this data sheet, it would be likely that they would know who I am, based on the fact that there are pretty much no foreigners living there.

So how is it living in a small city like that, having all the social capital you can imagine by being the only foreigner around, being physically different and have a higher social status? There’s the good and the bad.

I’ll start with the bad. It’s hard to imagine, but the city is so poor that there are pretty much no social spaces. There are no real parks, only small ‘plazas’. There is one shopping centre with maybe 6-7 stores. The city centre is a mess. Imagine arriving here and not knowing anyone. Where to go to meet people? Noteworthy to say that the city is considered dangerous, so you cannot just walk everywhere neither.

The bar culture is almost dead on all days, except for Friday/Saturday and when you do enter a bar, don’t expect anything like in Europe; people walking around having chats, singles looking to meet people, etc. No, more small groups of friends sitting at a table in a closed group. You walk in, people will look at you like who the fuck is that?

I can tell you it is hard to get a social life in a city like this. I never had any trouble before in other cities I lived in, but here I was somewhat stuck at times. Internetgame solved a lot of problems and sure I did try nightlife and day game. Me walking in solo at a club and trying to talk to people. It can still work, but you are being very direct, everybody is watching your moves and the local guys are all very suspicious of you talking to their girls. Not the most comfortable situations I’ll tell you. Day game sure, but remember no social spaces, so it’s mostly restricted to opening a girl in a shop or at the supermarket or just on the street.

Furthermore, many places become too dangerous as they say after about 7pm. I’m talking about local people who I worked with advising me to not leave the house at night, even avoid areas in the city centre in broad daylight. Later I found out they were mostly exaggerating, but nonetheless if everyone tells you it is very likely you will get robbed very soon, your first idea is not to go chat up the local girls in the street.

And fact of the matter was, pretty much everyone did get robbed. Two of my close colleagues, my neighbour, a girl I was seeing, … everyone but me. I was attacked once with a knife, but manages to escape. Apart from that nothing happened to me and that is still considered a quasi-miracle to all the locals as well as the people I know in Quito. Much depends on attitude and alertness off course.

Now let’s get to the good. Being that different from the local population, wealthier and better looking, I don’t have to tell you, almost every girl was eyeing me. Many even quite aggressive and at times girls even shouted at me, the same that everywhere in the world guys shout at girls, making semi sexual comments about my looks. Once I learned the language and became a bit at ease in the city, needless to say, I started reeling in the hottest girls of the city. If you talk about approach success ratio’s, I was able to fuck about 50% of the girls that I approached. Mind you, I approach girls who show clear interest in general so there are pre-indicators.

Like this, things were evolving great. In the first two months, I was seeing maybe 3 girls so a short harem and of about 6-7 quality. After that I started expanding into 7-8.5 territory and after half a year I would always have about 5-6 girls in rotation. My Spanish was becoming better and better and I learned the cultural ways. At the end of my stay, I had a harem of about 8-10 girls, most willingly to come and fuck me whenever I asked for it. I soon dropped the lower quality girls and at the very end of my stay there, I dropped down to about 2-4 girls fixed in my harem but of the 8-9.5 quality (I know subjective and im a latina man, but ok). This was necessary, because at this time, every time I would go out, people would know me. I had such a reputation, that after coming home from a date, I would get texts like ‘so you were in this place with that girl, is that your new girlfriend?’ or ‘I heard you had a great time tonight’ from girls I was semi seeing.

I had to become very tactical about all my social life. I tried to set up every date at my house or very close to avoid meeting others, but as you might now, the higher class the girl, the more they expect to be taken to dinners etc. It was a challenge.
However, it worked also beneficial at times. Some girls I would open and they would already know who I was, that I had lots of success with girls and that I was not looking for a serious relationship. A bang is not far away at such a point.
All in all, I still prefer living in bigger cities. The competition might be higher, but so is the offer, the possibilities of going out, places to see and so on.

Notch reports:

1. Pretty much the only attractive girl I found on CS for this small city. Hit her up, had some small chat and soon it was clear she was interested. She was about a 6, but with big tits and a nice ass. Sexualized the conversations and the second night after I arrived, she came straight to my hotel and after 3 minutes of conversation we got things going on. This girl was a freak. The first one and the nastiest I had the whole year, fuck even my whole life, she was down for everything and this right after we met. Some days after, she saw me with nr. 2 and said that was not what she had in mind, she wanted me for herself. I could've still fucked her some more times but passed her over.

2. Badoo girl, she was very eager to meet up. About 6,5 in looks but with huge tits once again. The first date her little brother came allong. I found out later that that is quite common. Only managed to kiss her. Second date, I met her very briefly, but it was already clear that she wanted a relationship. By holding hands she showed everybody that I was with her. Later I found out why, because in this place, I was way above her level. Fucked her on the third and a few times after, but made clear that we were not dating exclusively.

3. A neighbour girl who was quite young. She was very interested and came by house at random times. At one of those, I made my move and that was that. I was a bit worried with her age that she might become clingy or something after, but she was really cool in fact and she sort of became a friend after I decided to not do anything else with her. 6 in looks.

4. Another girl from badoo, very hot, perfect body, 8.5 I'd say. She was very easygoing, not too bright but fun to be around with. I got her back to my house fairly fast, but lots of LMR. Eventually she cracked and I was very happy with that. She was the first girl of my latter harem.

5. The hottest girl at work hehe. We were working in the same office and pretty much every guy was behind this girl. Young, beautiful, smart, charming, she had it all. A kid as well though, which was the only downside. We would meet constantly and I always kept it sort of professional up until a certain after work meet. Everyone was getting drunk and me and her were the youngest and strongest drinkers. We ended up alone at the bar last ones standing. Told her to stop by my place for a last drink and made my move there. She did not dissapoint. Added to the harem and uff she's still on my mind even now.

I might continue with some bang reports later on, but for now I'll leave it at that.

Hope you enjoyed the datasheet, feel free to ask more questions!
