I've been on the fence about something for quite a bit of time. Recently had a new guy join the office. He's crazy effinimate but from what i gather isn't gay.
I don't trust effiminate men. Now, it doesn't matter if they're gay or straight just the entire act of being effiminate makes him difficult to peg and doubly i don't trust them.
The flipside being, i do trust and don't mind masculine qualities in girls (think Thatcher, Guillard, etc). In fact it's slightly refreshing working with them, they tend to give me the bottom line.
But throw an effeminate guy into the mix and I question how much i can trust him. Will he break under pressure? Will he attempt to act effeminate while trying to lead (doesn't work well)? Will he selectively leave things out in order to spin a situation differently?
These qualities just don't jive with me in a guy and since I can't peg his personality I just go for a dominate until submission which usually works.
Any experience for working with these people?
