This sounds counterintuitive, but I've been finding that playing the "deceptive rakish cad" and then admitting to my ploys tends to really endear girls to me. So it may be that right after they finish their drink I reveal my subterfuge laughingly, even poking fun at them for no being able to tell. "Thought you were a classy girl... tongues not as discerning as you thought eh... etc..."

Concrete Example - I started doing this with an online profile where I'm posing with a dog that very obviously looks to be mine. Normally girls would ask about it and I'd lie or deflect.... but at some point I just started saying

Her: OMG your dog is so cute
Me: You're rolling deep when you bounce with Mr. Snuggles
Her: lol is that his name, cute
Me: Want to hear a secret
Her: Sure...
Me: That may or may not be my dog, and I may or may not be using it for devious purposes.

My intuition told me that this would turn out badly, but without fail girls find it funny, or even compliment me on my trickery.

Reminds me of the old TV ads "We've secretly replaced your coffee with Folgers crystals..."
