When did modern Latina's become such a mess?

- I'll give you a little hint. If the girl dances salsa, there is a much higher chance she is a keeper. And I don't mean professionally, just for fun. Salsa is a very technical dance where the girl submits to the man's lead. Bachata is also, but the technicality and propriety of salsa compared to other partner dances self-select for a very particular breed of girl... and this isn't limited to Puerto Ricans or latinas, this applies to all races. On a related note, if a girl prefers bachata to salsa, watch out. Edit: By bachata I mean the bachata moderna bullshit, not the Dominican bachata heavy with footwork. The domi bachata is baller, but I've yet to meet a girl who prefers that over moderna grinding.

Kamikaze,

Really enjoyed your post, and didn't know you were a Boricua, so that's cool.

I'll add that when non-latinas get into the salsa scene, it's just so they can enter themselves into the arena so they can get some latin dick in their lives.

You'd be surprised to find out that a lot of the Miami salsa scene is actually filled with white girls. They get into it because it sets them up to get fucked by Juan Carlos, Cesar, and Eduardo. Some of them get really into it and become salsa teachers, then you have white girls charging latinos $60 an hour to learn salsa, which is like having a Jewish person hire a Dominican to make them a babka.

Girls who get into bachata tend to like Dominican guys. There's a famous spot here called Tipico Dominicano that is filled on Sundays with Black Dominican men and non-Dominican women.

There are a lot of girls here who can dance salsa, but the bachata leaves a lot to be desired, I have to go to the Dominican part of town to find really competent bachata dancers, otherwise you're going places where everyone is off the beat and the only steps/movement they know is what you would teach to a class of white people, and when I see some non-Domincans dancing, and they're kicking their feet up on two and four, I'm done.

I went to one of those latin night meetups recently in Hollywood, and this white girl told me, she didn't like merengue because it's "boring", and I looked at her and said, "You look boring."
