Illegal immigration is a great thing if you are the owner of a business that relies heavily on unskilled or semi skilled labor, are part of the SJW industry (press, government, or NGO), or if you are living in some crap hole in Honduras. For more than a hundred million blue collar working, naturally born citizens of the United States, it's not such a good deal. You face the loss of a job, downward pressure or stagnation on your wages, and either reduced services or increased taxes or both, as your local and state government has to cover the cost of educating and housing and feeding and health care for many illegals and their children, as they are very often poor and uneducated.
