Long-term methods:
1. Broad-spectrum sunscreen (UVA and UVB protection) daily + reapplication, too
2. Application of retinol (high-strength Vitamin A) at nighttime before bed
3. Daily moisturizer
3. Exfoliate skin 1+ times each week
4. HYDRATION
5. Eating your veggies, especially carrots, spinach, and kale
6. Daily facial cleanser
7. Limiting alcohol use and obviously no smoking
8. Drinking warm lemon water each morning (not proven but becoming popular)
1-5 are money, ESPECIALLY 1 & 2. Obviously, this isn't easy to adhere to, but worth it in the end. I'm a young guy but can see my skin looks far better than that of most people who work in a high-stress place like I do. I have to fight my genetics for the rest of my life.
Just a warning, but I keep hearing retinol being applied daily. That stuff is really strong, and should be careful with it. It could end up weakening your skin barrier hence creating redness aka broken blood vessels because you thinned your skin out.
