That chart is infuriating since it doesn't allow for bimodal or true values for the "bottom 90%". For all we know, the 0-25% are considered negative income, since roughly 25% of the population is on welfare. Then there's the folks that make $0 because they don't work. These values drag down all the other values encapsulated in the 90%. For all we know, based on the chart, the 80-90% range could make just a single penny less than the 90-95% range. (obviously that's not the case, but it illustrates how useless these charts are).
