Who actually says this? Belittling other people incessantly IMO is a sign of NOT being alpha. As an Alpha male, you stand up for your friends and the members of your pack when need be, but otherwise focus on more important things than petty gossip and putting people down.
And negging works. If you're a 7 and want to get a 10 you need to bring her down to your level. This doesn't mean that spitting in her face will get you anywhere, but any man that argues that chivalry is not dead is completely delusional and happy with never getting laid.
