Whata the best way to handle bitches in the work place?

Bitches are just another form of bad employees. Bad employees will be everywhere and you have to deal with bitches the same way you deal with bad employees.

Follow these steps:

I would suggest
a) Be more valuable than the bad employee. This is huge. A lot of employees who complain about other employees have a greatly over inflated sense of self-worth and they are shit-bags themselves. From the perspective of a boss, he wouldn't mind getting rid of both YOU and the bitch, or maybe even just you and others get along with the bitch well enough.. So be a better workers & more important than the bitch. This is probably the most important rule. I cant stress enough how many people complain about other employees when they themselves are just as bad or oftentimes even worse.

b) making it known to HR/your boss that a problem exists early on. Do NOT state anything about this being gender-related. State your reasons - is the bad employee asking you to do too much when you have your own work to do? Creating a bad working environment by distracting workers with tales from their personal life when they should be focused on work? etc, etc. Start this early on so that HR has a track record of your difficulty. Do not make too much of a fuss because then you'll be a liability, but just enough so that it's on their radar

c) document the times she is a bitch to you and what exactly happened on a little notebook. Records are important to state your case later on. Most people don't do records but they are incredibly important simply for this reason.

d) politely communicate with the bitch and try to come up with a win-win situation. This is really key because what makes workplaces flow is verbal communication. Relationships are often about nonverbal communication, but workplaces are all about the verbal communication to work out problems.
