Her: Hey you too, sorry I was in a bit of a rush. How was the rest of your day off
Me: its ok. not much, went to starbucks (lie, but girls LOVE Starbucks so it builds comfort) did some writing (truth)
Her: What kinda writing
Me: my long ass novel
Her (now she hooks): I wanna hear about it
At this point I thought it prudent to call and set up a date to be more efficient (blending texting and calling). She's on the train still so she can't talk now. She's going to text to see if I can take her call in about 30 minutes. Let's see if that actually holds up.
So in this exchange I built comfort and then baited with a bit of value. Seems to work for now. Still waiting to see if the girl I mentioned yesterday will message me tomorrow.
