Stuck and don't know what to do...

Being in medical school is not the same as being a doctor. Being a doctor provides a lot more rewards and opportunities, so this is about delaying gratification.

My friend is a doctor and he just got out of medical school a year ago. He's now in a residency after interning... His internship gave him a little more free time for a social life, but now he seems to be working really hard... more than 40 hour weeks.

Plan on not having much of a life for the next 7-10 years. Just being honest... The guy wants to game, but he's too busy to spend time on that. The best he can do is go on a few online dates every month. He doesn't really have the time to get good at it or do things like go to the gym, so it really hurts your game.

On top of this, medical school is expensive. Even though he's a doctor now, his disposable income is less than mine, and I'm in a bullshit marketing job... He can't afford to go out as much as I can. So it takes a couple years to get up into the 6 figures and your loans offset some of that income during the early years.

Once you're out of school, you'll need to play some catch up, especially if you didn't spend your B.S. years in the game. But because of the time commitment of being a doctor, it'll take a few years until you're settled enough to be able to focus on it.

Think hard about this...
Being a doctor is serious DHV and you probably won't need the advice on this forum once you're credentialed, but it's also a serious time crunch... you won't be able to enjoy it until well into your 30s.

Watch Nip Tuck and be inspired, but I think that kind of lifestyle is hard to come by until you're older. Most of the doctors I know do not have the personality to be in the game. They're too neurotic and high strung (and those personality traits help with medical school, but not with women). My friend is actually the exception to the rule... which is why I'm excited for him once he actually reduces the workload.
