This place is a pain in the ass buddy. Here's why:
1) Island is too spaced out and you need a car to get around.
2) Floripa only has 400K people.
3) Metro only has 700K people.
4) Things happen very slowly as in people that stay single are that way for awhile. People that are in relationships are in the same ones FOREVER.
5) In a small city, lot of people know each other so it's really a negative stigma for local chicks to sleep with gringos because word gets out.
6) Best bet would be the peak season gals that flock into Floripa.
7) Off peak this place is dead where you can literally hear the sound of *crickets.* I say get out. Move to Belo Horizonte (5 Mil Metro) or Porto Alegre (4 Mil Metro)!
