The flipside to not catching them right away is that they often pop up out of no where once it doesn't work out with whatever guy they were seeing... if you made enough of an impression.

The biggest thing that increased my initial response rate was targeting the right girls. After a while I got an intuitive feel based on her profile, pictures, and vibe whether she was serious about meeting or not.

Now you need to take that a step further so you can figure out within 30-60 seconds to determine the ones most DTF.
