Anyone else have a problem with snoring?

Suggest to get the book by Dr. Derek Lipman (Amazon). Before he cleaned my pipes, I snored like a bear. All the men in my family snore. He used a lazer to remove the flaps, including the uvula, and ran a lazer down each nostril to clear the polyps. This is the nuclear option but it's painless and takes maybe one hour. Had a bitch of a sore throat for 2 weeks, but I haven't snored a peep since. It's wonderful to make no more noise in my sleep than the little sweeties on the other pillow.

Another excellent point. That's why I asked if you feel like it is hard to breathe when you lay down. If you have nasal polyps you will need to see a doc for a scope to check, and they can remove them. It will make your life alot better.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably just have to go through with a similar surgery. I'm just trying to figure out if it would be more efficient to have it performed in the USA for $5K or so, or have it done in Thailand on a visit. I definitely don't want to cheap out on such an important surgery, but I'd rather not waste money either.

Yes, I use a neti pot and it helps. And when I lay down I do feel that it's harder to breathe. But I've gotten the scope test from my doc and I don't have polylps. My septum is only slightly deviated so he doesn't think that's an issue either.

Basically, he says that my snoring comes down to allergies. So I'll try the allergen reducer spray that you recommend. And I'll eventually have to get the nuclear surgery that Davidovich had done.

Do you remember how much your surgery cost when you had it?
