My waist is 33.5-34" around the Iliac crest (pelvic bones on the side), hips about 41" at the widest point. How do I tell if I am a high waisted person? Also, the waist is technically the narrowest point between the chest and the hips, and my technical waist is a lot higher than most people's, about 2" above my navel - my waist has a bit of an 'hourglass' shape.
