The article is internally inconsistent in that it suggests fighting gravity "wears out" the muscle, but that kegels will help by conditioning the muscle--which seems inaccurate to me in any case because the scrotal muscle isn't activated by kegels. Given its function it makes excellent sense that we can't control the muscle voluntarily.
