So I was speaking to a friend that lives in Britain and according to him, Pubs (Known as Public Houses) are the better places to meet women in the UK.
According to his reasoning pubs are more calmer places to meet women in the UK compared to full blown night clubs or bars.
He says more than 75% of England’s adult population go to pubs, and more than 30% are “regulars”, visiting the pub more than once a week.
So what does that tell you?
Well for a start, the bar in a pub is among the few places in Britain where it is acceptable, appropriate and normal to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. Even in London, which tells you something.
He says its more people oriented and a calmer atmosphere for non-english speaking foreigners, especially if you want to make friends and build networks quickly.
