Living in Colombia and Thailand has completely altered my views on women, feminism, culture, everything. And THAT is what leaving a country and traveling is all about. It's about seeing some of life through different prisms. God knows Americans could use it.

I can really relate to this. As soon as Im in the company of Americans, I gotta get the fuck outta there. Bullshit small talk in which no party has anything interesting to say is not my idea of a good time. Add to that the fake smiles, the no-nonsense all-about-business mentality, and the women. Not that Canada is that much better Good place to make money, though (as has been stated over and over)
