You usually don't have to pay for shipping for a few remakes at local optician or optometrist and more likely they will accept your visual insurance. Also your less likely to make a mistake with Pupil distance measurements and prescription. If your insurance is really good, even an expensive frame won't cost much.
One thing I'm not sure about is Rayban return policy if you have to replace a frame. I've read a ton of horror stories about it taking 2-3 weeks for a single replacement frame. I'd ask where your fitted for info about that. Rayban are generally cheaper than Gucci so they aren't too expensive.
