STATUS REPORT:
Came by work chilled in the back office, man she looks older (the wall is creeping on her), she def doesn't look as attractive as i remembered her.
We talked - she was nervous and jittery, also very very fidgety. I came off cocky, funny, cool, calm. She brought up the fact she just broke up with her BF a few times (hint? or stuck on him?)
I didn't remember her being this super bubbly and kinda had a crazy eye, she mentioned her ex did alot of coke on the weekends and she had to stop because she liked it alot. (perhaps that's why she seems a little off?)
She hinted at how she stopped drinking liquor, doesn't throw up, doesn't go to clubs or parties anymore, how she's over the whole scene (all things that caused me to dump her)
She went over how she regretted how things ended, how we had such a great sex life (hint), how I haven't changed (in a good way), blah blah blah, she started tearing up talking about how i was such a big part of her life, she loved me so much, and she misses me.
I'm stonewalling all of this playing it cool saying things like, "I'd miss me too" "Well shit happens" "I haven't given it much thought" etc. (inside i was kind of happy that all this confirmed I made the right decision to dump her)
She kept seeing if I could leave work early, what my plans were that night. Kept it mysterious saying I needed to handle work all day and I already had plans with friends that night (included the main girl I'm seeing)
I played it off and kept control of the convo, then ended it on my terms, telling her to text me later, and I'd figure out a day I was free that we could meet up.
We hugged outside of work and she took a big whiff and said "mmmm i miss that scent, come here again" I put my hand in front of as she gave me another hug and said with a smirk "Maybe if you're lucky that scent will be all over you next time, text me and I'll make it happen"
She texted me right after she left saying your as handsome as i rememberd, i said "yeah i get that alot" she sent a pick of from a long time ago making out, all i said dang that's an old picture)
So I didn't hear anything back after that about 2 days later, texted her last night (i think that was a mistake) saying - "what's your schedule look like ? I may have evening free this week" - could've worded this better.
No response of course. Checked her instagram today and it looks like her ex commented laughing on her newest picture. (I'm pretty sure now they just got in a fight that day, and she wanted validation from an EX aka me)
I feel like her coming and seeing me was pointless, the way I see it I totally could've fucked her that night, the day she came to my work. But honestly, I had something 100x's better on my plate that night anyways. Besides I was getting paid while she was spewing all that BS.
THOUGHTS/QUESTIONS:
Now I'm not a vet, but is this worth pursuing (as a fuck and putting her in the rotation) or just toss it aside since I've already had it and if she comes to me, deal with it then ?
What could have I done better here to maintain my frame and dominance in that interaction with my ex ?
