Honestly I'd go with this car if I were the OP. Sporty/looks cool especially if lightly modified. Cheap (on gas/repairs etc).
Just make sure you find one with low-ish km. Familiarize yourself with the different years/trims etc. Make sure its been maintained regularly, not rebuilt etc.
I test drove one before I bought my car. Had a few problems that were mostly cosmetic, and breaks (only $250 parts/labor).
I didn't end up getting it because it was too damn small. My knees almost touched the steering wheel, no backseat room, very limited trunk space.
That being said if you don't want to bang in your car or anything (at 6'2 a midsize coupe is still big enough for me) I'd go for it.
