First, I have to let you know that I'm a newbie when it comes to trading.
Now. I was just researching a few stocks to acquire and stumbled upon these news

It states that the dividend pay will be of $18.125 per share and payable to to shareholders of record as of July 1, 2011.
Does that mean that I can buy 2 shares of BAC this monday (which are trading at about $11) for approx. $22, hold them until july and get $36.25 on dividends?![[Image: confused.gif]](https://rooshvforum.network/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Or is there something I'm not seeing?
