Do you have a place to stay? I was there in March and stayed at an apartment on Banchi Vecchi (very central location - close to patheon, trevi fountain and campo d'fiori) I paid 685 euro for 8 days. I would've extended my stay but the apartment was booked, I ended up moving to a hostel but i had a private room check out http://www.yellowhostel.com (near termini) i had fun at the apartment but had I known the fun i would have at the hostel i would have booked my entire stay there.


I went to a couple pubs and to the disco area (there are about 6 discos on that street) i forgot the name of the area but they do have the map posted in the yellow. I don't think you will have to leave the yellow as it has a popular bar and its filled with tourist, i hooked up with a couple American foreign exchange students and a chick from Aussie. Trust me the yellow is the way to go. If they are packed they have a sister hostel directly across the street, make sure you pay the extra money and get the private room.

Thanks for the pointer! I have some people there who usually hook me up - but I might hit up the hostel for a night or two just for fun!
