I'm usually pretty accurate, but one TED talk given by Susan Blackmore (The Meme Machine) showed she is the exact OPPOSITE of what I had in mind. She was trying to get acceptance for her concept of "Temes" - Technological memes - though it hasn't taken off, like the word meme itself.
