Based on your situation, I was as going to suggest Japan, but it really is love or hate it, and needs a commitment in language. But the women!!

Don,t knock the UK, great jump off point for rest of europe, but weather can be proper miserable.

Maybe have a look at bar work other than teaching to supplement income if going to australia since english teaching wont be an option?
I LOVE JAPAN. I know a few Japanese phrases specifically for pick up (learned them from a natural buddy when I went there back in the day). My friend ... he doesn't find asians too attractive, though I bet that would change if we went there.

We've decided we don't want to work on game while learning a new language, so I think Australia is it. Also, some acquaintances there could help us out at the beginning.
I'm just hoping Gringo is wrong, and it doesn't take too long for us to find jobs. [Image: huh.gif] The jury's out about how easy that is; we keep hearing mixed messages about that.

I've seen so many Aussies and Europeans temporarily staying in Canada; they find all sorts of jobs... sales, store clerks, promoters, babysitters (yeah). It's hard for me to believe we can't get similar jobs there. I can't see how restaurants or coffee shops can get long-term commitments from their native employees any more than from travellers.
