Weightloss tips from those who actually lost weight (fast)?

The previous posts are all great advice, but what I ask you is what behaviors are causing you to be overweight? Yes exercising too little and eating too much is what it comes down to, but how specifically are you say eating too much.

Once you figure that out you're golden.

A lot of guys promote things like "eat 100% paleo starting today, do HITT and lift heavy" all of those things are good, but you need to change your habits and realize that you've ingrained into yourself behaviors which cause you to be overweight. There is no quick fix and you have to change little by little. From my experience you follow that advice and your years of bad habits will catch up with you within a week or two and you'll end up right where you started.

If I were to give you a few pieces of direct advice it would be to:

1) identify overeating/underexercising causes. and gradually work away from them. This summer was primo time for me to drop some extra pounds. I was walking 12 hours a day on top of lifting heavy, but I started eating fast food very frequently and drinking lots of beer. The food was mostly at work because I was bored at work/didn't plan. I didn't gain any weight however. Now I eat big meals before work and bring some whey for lunch at work. I've noticed no difference in my hunger levels but have dropped some pounds. My lifts didn't suffer either. On top of this I was eating lots of processed foods at home. I've been gradually cutting out shit from my life. I had one week of no fast food whatsoever, then a week of no sugar whatsoever, then I'm going on a week with no processed foods at home.

2) walk everywhere. Walking is easy, everybody can do it. Take time to relax and just walk around, maybe you'll run into a cute girl you can talk to.

3) drink lots of water and don't let yourself get over-hungry. if I don't eat all day and try to have one big meal I end up going on a feeding frenzy and eat everything in sight.
