Yeah. They also don't allow for anonymous comments anymore.
I think video uploaders can choose not to allow comments. The anonymity thing is entirely separate.
This video may have had the comments already closed, but I've been seeing some videos that I use to look at have the comment section closed after they'd been open for some time.
Plenty of sites and blogs are omitting the comment sections or requiring you to comment through your social media account. All to keep the lid on info spreading and tabs on the unwashed masses.
