Imagine that. You're a 22 year old guy getting ready to take life by the balls and all of a sudden a girl you knew 8 years ago comes out of nowhere and claims you raped her 8 years ago. Then you get railroaded by the cops, prosecutors and even a judge

And the ordeal isn't over for the dude, he was released on conditional pardon. That means he's essentially on probation and needs permission to leave the state. His sex offender status is 'unclear'. What the fuck. There should be a fast track system for the wrongly convicted - especially with things related to sex offender registries.

So why did this all happen?
I hope the dude gets millions. The taxpayers of his county deserve to have their money 'wasted' - they're the ones who voted the authorities responsible for this injustice into office. He'll also probably get some money from a book deal and movie rights. But fuck. This never should have happened.
