Fisto is right. You really need a table in order to make the nightclub scene bearable. It's a 2-3 hour wait to get in the clubs. Once your there, it's extremely helpful to have a place to get drinks and a home base for your group.
Some of G's info on Vegas is now dated. The DJ scene there is completely different than 5 years ago. Music in nightclubs is mostly EDC and spectacular from what I saw the last couple of nights.
Skipping the pool scene is foolish. One of the easiest approaches is walking by a girl in a bikini that is chillin out IN the water. You HAVE to walk by slow because you're walking in water. It's also 100 degrees, so everyone is relaxed and going nowhere.
