I don't think getting married is nuts or beta for that matter.

Micheal Jordan retired twice as a champion. No one can ever question his alpha, killer instinct. I think guys getting married can be as simple as having had an illustrious career, and now wanting to ease into a retirement nest or recharge.

Sometimes you getting tired of running game, you see so much pussy it takes more to turn you on, you know the answers before they even open their mouths, the nights out can physically take a toll, the energy can wane after years upon years of chasing pussy.

I agree that getting married doesn't necessarily mean that you're nuts or beta, but it certainly can . The examples are legion of figures with an alpha public persona that get cuckolded or otherwise punked by their wives or grovel back embarrassingly.

Like you, I'm a big advocate of periodically checking out of the game. You're right: you can't chase pussy for years and that's it. Especially if you find someone worthwhile, it's smart (and healthy) to stop and enjoy that person, re-charge, and smell the roses.

But, straight-up getting married, particularly if you're rich and famous, without a pre-nup is a mark of a guy that got talked into potentially putting half of his property on the line for a pussy that he won't have anything to do with after divorce (in David D'Angelo's case, a below-average-looking one). That seems like the calling card of, if not a beta through-and-through, certainly a weak moment. We all have them, but that's a pretty long-term one.

Knocking up a chick is another thing. You're on the line for child support if things go South, but at least that's going toward something that you (in theory) will continue to care about and have a vested interest in seeing for years to come.
