I wouldn't worry about that. At 22, Alberto isn't looking for the future Mrs. Alberto. He's looking to get laid! Yes, they will find out you are penniless, but as long as they don't figure that out until AFTER you score, who cares?? You can keep up the façade for a few weeks.
I think a bigger risk is that your blanket assumption "Women will find me intriguing" isn't necessarily true. Maybe they will, if you are otherwise intriguing. But I think its just as likely that the average 22 year old walking into a bar he wouldn't have even been allowed into 18 months ago with a suit and big dorky smile on his face is most likely to be seen as a pretender. So, let's hope Alberto is not the typical 22 year old!
I absolutely agree with the second part, so think we agree, I think you misunderstood my point though. Which is that it is going to be very easy for them to figure out he is broke before sleeping with him, thus ruining many chances that could otherwise be converted by just not being disingenuous/incongruent to begin (which also kind of reinforces a poor self image of being a dude who cannot get women without trickery)
How are they going to figure out he's broke that quickly? Check his credit score?
Girls are dumb. When they're genuinely attracted to a guy, they will blissfully ignore warning signs and play along with the fairy tale. This is why so many dumb bitches are shocked when they find out the dude they've been screwing is married, despite his obviously shady behavior. It only becomes an issue when they're losing attraction or the lies become too blatant.
