when does this take place?
5-7 July, Tver. Most of the headliners represent usual Nashe Radio playlist (100% russian rock). I might go there, not sure yet, but it's probable.
The main characteristic of russian rock is being partly folk-rock, with often unconventional instruments used in addition to the standard electric guitars and drums (violin, accordion or wind instruments). Lyrics play also a large role in russian rock, and very often songs talk about national themes and russian literature or poetry.
Best to go to Nashetvie is to go with a girl you mesh well with, and as I said to be in the VIP section. You listen at great bands, you eat shashliks, you drink beer and vodka, you tak with arty and intelligent people (sometimes even with the artists themselves), you repeatedly fuck her in your tent, ect. All in all, a great weekend, and muuuuuch more interesting than Kazantip.
