Spirit Airlines - I paid $225 one way including all fees and baggage to Santiago. You can get slightly cheaper tickets too if you book a month ahead. I printed out an itenerary that looked kindof like I had a return ticket. But they never asked me for it at immigration.

Spirit is cheap for south america too, Peru, colombia, nicaragua, etc.
Tightest seats ever on a plane though. And small planes easily affected by turbulence... not for queasy flyers. But I couldn't find a mention of any accident history, that's what counts to me. Unlike good old ValueJet which I used to take, that company was a joke, literally. Stewardesses would be cracking jokes about all the little things that would go wrong, intercom malfunctions, etc.. Jokes just made it much worse...
