Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Manhattan south of Harlem are mostly tourists and transplants from Michisotabraska. Very few American transplants ever integrate into the city, but foreign immigrants usually do. Of all the American transplants, people who attend NYU for undergrad and stay in the city for work are probably the best at integrating.
