If it's for the long haul, I would say watch her like Colombo. Go on a small trip with her, see how she acts outside of her comfort zone.
Because some lizards are very sweet in the preliminary stage and they turn into Komodo dragons after.
Not saying that to discourage you, I am just asking that you appeal to your male logic. Vet her as a doctor that is interested in switching to being an attorney (solicitor) would.
