i see your point clr. i don't know this cougar you're seeing and i'm sure this applies to her.
however, as a general statement i'm not sure this is the case. i'm sure there are loads of guys in loveless/sexless marriages/relationships that cheat because they want to feel needed/special/loved etc and I'm sure there are plenty of women as well who just cheat for sex or for fun
