I don't understand why you quoted this study. According to this study:
"The results showed that 4-week simultaneous and separately zinc and selenium supplementation had no significant effect on resting testosterone and lactate levels of subjects who consume a zinc and selenium sufficient diet. It might be possible that the effect of zinc supplementation on free testosterone depends on exercise."
You quoted a science article which disproves what you are saying?!?!?
The only thing those crazy Iranian scientists discovered in this pathetic study of 32 subjects (divided into four groups, as if the sample size weren't pitiful enough) was that zinc increases total testosterone - which counts both active and inactive testosterone types. Free testosterone, the active type, was not affected in this study.
