if you want to be more assertive then have strong personal boundaries and execute them ruthlessly. ex if you can't stand smoking and your chick smokes then tell her straight up she's not your type or something like that. that's not over the top dickhead move but still gets the message across very well. little things like without doing anything try hard will make the difference for sure
