The Benelli M4 is semi-automatic, right? That right there is a big price jump.

Yeah, for home defense, I'd go simple pump action. Better yet, go with an AR. Superior to a shotgun for home defense in just about every aspect.

Thanks Kona. I'm always game to take newbs shooting. One range trip will undo much of the media brainwashing about guns that most people are subjected to their entire lives.
