I'm not happy with airbnb (what else is there?) in Latam, including Mexico. Double prices from what they should be, wide angle lenses to virtually double the size of rooms on ads, range from clean to moldy, security can be a hassle (have to pre-approve guests anyone??) The biggest point of contestation is, the bed--not exactly a petty thing for us. Some are just two pieces shoved together, which falls apart during sex, others are prison piss mattresses. Try to ask any technical question, like the recoil rating of the matterss, and instead of honest stares, you get a con job answer.
Any idea on how to get around this?
