Yeah, my impression is "one year to boost your game" is best spent as "one year to work on yourself"... mostly. The more I think about it, there's not much "game" to work on except making yourself better and then practicing approaches. A LOT. So with a decent amount of money, I'd move to a place which facilitated approaching (apartment near an area with lots of venues), spend the days learning/practicing amazing things (fitness/travel/style/language/anything else that I love) and the evenings practicing approaching and enjoying myself.
