I imagine the main benefits are that it's around 1/3 the price of a decent human hooker with near zero chance of contracting an STD (assuming the doll is cleaned properly). Then you have the sperg factor: dudes who just don't want to deal with women, look them in the eyes, etc. There are guys who will prefer the emotional sterility of a robot, and they are growing in number.
Filming/extorting clients is a possibility, but isn't that a risk at a regular brothel? I think that's been the plot of a movie or show or game or something.
