I wish I had better handwriting. I was not a very good student in grade school and had really shitty teachers. I did not learn to write well. Never learned my multiplication tables, either. But, later in life, I crushed physics and wrote essays that went on to be published. All those dumb little girls with the beautiful cursive could barely survive a graduate level course.
The fortunate thing is I can practice and train myself in handwriting and did so later on in life--mostly out of boredom on military deployments when we had no internet. My handwriting is still shyte, but it's actually respectable when I'm writing something I know others will read/see. When I'm writing things to myself, all bets are off. It's scribbles.
