At the friends place we drank beer, and the heat was killing me--seemed like it was easily 90.
Weird. My parents used to have an office around there, but I never noticed that place. North Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts is so hit or miss man.
I'd see hotties all the time Bishop Arts lunch time though weekend nights were a bit dreadful. Sylvan/30 can be decent for happy hour though it's gotten quite hipster-ish. Taco Deli off that corner has some hotties Sunday brunch time. I might try Cibo Divino for Happy Hour one day though....
Sounds like you were out/about Saturday when it got extremely hot here...(I was sick in bed all day..)

Parking is a mess in Deep Ellum. It's Uber or nothing. Due to the heavy amounts of meh chicks in Deep Ellum, any decent looking gal there is going to have major bitch shields. I do like Bottled Blonde on Thurs nights tho...
