They instantly saw this as fucking sexual assault as if he was waiting in the bushes and jumping on a strange woman pinning her down with a knife to her throat.
This is the kind of example that is given. First of all - it's possible that there was understood consent. If the girl does nothing with the hand of the boy, then she obviously liked it and he read the signs properly. This is not as if he was Stalin's son and had to let him do anything there.
That scene alone is at best a bad pass. The girl should react by hitting the boy or telling him off. She knows the guy for fuck's sake. It's not as if a stranger is doing it in a train who she is not interested in at all. Only if he continues doing it after having been told to stop - then it is molestation, if he uses force then it becomes assault.
