Which ones? Any club round Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, Silom / Patpong or general Sukhumvit area may have freelance pros in but they won't be the only girls there and there will be some clubs that have none or next to no pro's. The majority of clubs listed on that list will not have pro's.
The highend places like Bed Supperclub and Narz etc, no pro's.
RCA area, not that I ever recall seeing. Normal Thai people and a few foreigners.
Kowsan area, yes some pro's if on Kowsan Road it's self. If in the surrounding area and a majority Thai bar / club then no.
Victory Monument, Ratchathewi, Phraya Thai, Phraya Thit, Thonburi, Lad Prao etc...no pros.
Bangkok is not the whore infested place it's made out to be, you only see it if you go looking for it. Stay in certain areas of town and hang out / party in certain areas and you'll not even see a pro. Had a friend come visit not so long ago and after a week he asked me why he hadn't seen any prostitutes or ladyboys yet. People expect them to be everywhere.

It's a list that initially I compiled from various sources online and then added to as I was here, it's about 50% taken from online and 50% mines.
There are good looking girls everywhere in Bangkok (assuming you like Asian girls), the high end venues probably have the best looking and richest girls but they are also less likely to hook up with a foreigner, especially one just here on holiday. Maybe if he lives and works here. I don't frequent these places so I'm no expert on them.
If you want to meet normal, working class, Thai girls head to RCA. Tons of choices of clubs and bars, whilst most people will be in mixed groups of guys and girls (normal in Thailand) if you're cool and don't act like a sexpest you can break into the group. Chat with the guys first and make sure you're not chatting up someones girlfriend.
If you're interested in Thai students then Heap Bar at Phraya Thai is fun and full of young, cute, girls.
Phra A Thit Road is a good bet, followed by going to Deep Club or Brick Bar. They all speak English and are generally friendly. Brick Bar is busy from Thursdays onwards and great fun if you like Ska music. Good looking girls a plenty.
For laidback dinner and drinks with a date (nothing too fancy) with some live music I like to head to Coco Walk at Ratchathewi and go to Retro and Volk Bar. Good food and decent live (thai) music. You will also find groups of girls here and they aren't against chatting to you IME.
For a night of sex shows, go go bars and then shoring pro's head to Soi Cowboy, Nana or Patpong then go off to Climax or one of the other afterhour clubs on Sukhumvit.
Interested in hearing some good thai punk and rock music at out of the way venue with a good and friendly crowd then head to Parking Toy bar at Lad Prao on the Northern outskirts of BKK. Interesting crowd here.
Want to meet some normal thai people out for a drink on the weekend then Ding Dang isn't a bad choice. I found everyone in the bars seemed to speak English and didn't mind a farang chatting to them.
Most of my lays have come from pipelining, going out on a date and then fucking the girl later that night at my hotel. A few from random street approaches (mostly at night) where I've seen a cute girl walking somewhere or waiting on a bus or whatever and approached, gotten a number then met at a later date. A couple from chatting up girls at a shop or market stall, getting the number and going out sometime and a few from clubs, usually it's really late and I'm at some after hour place, I check out all the girls that are non pros (easy to tell) and just approach until I find one drunk and horny enough to sneak off with a farang. Earlier on in the night they might worry too much about what their friends / society thinks, by 3am onwards they are too drunk to give a shit.

Yeah this place stays open till midday, I've been in there once to that time and then eventually went home with a girl I'd been messing around with all night, possibly a semi pro. Spicy has changed, I went a few weeks back and it was at least 90% normal girls and guys, no obvious pro's to be seen. It used to be hooker central! Pulled a definite non pro from there with relative ease recently.

I found that it's best to just pretend you don't know they are a pro, ask them what they do for work. They will lie. Run with that lie and take them home. If they spent all night telling you they work in communications or IT how can they justify asking for money in the morning. I try and avoid pros and semi pros though as you're never really sure about whether they will rob you when you sleep. Whilst it can happen with any girl the chance seems much higher with these types.

It's rare to see any of them look like they're having fun. The majority of them aren't even that great looking, just have good bodies and it's dark so you don't notice the face so much. I'd only go back if a friend who's never been to BKK was visiting and wanted to experience it.
