ADHD is challenging. Couple that with anxiety and it makes for a difficult college experience.
1) Try to figure out some means to handle the ADHD. Visit a doc if you can and try to get on Vyvanse or the like. This can have night and day impact. Be very deliberate about courseload and how you manage your entire college experience.
2) Decide whether sex or career come first. Because of the ADHD balancing the two will be difficult, so you may have to go without notches or without being particularly social for a period of time. This is especially the case if you go down the engineering route.
3) Sales is much easier than engineering on ADHD. However, good luck getting Indian parents to buy into their golden child becoming a lowly salesman. If you go down the sales route, take easiest major. Get the degree. Focus on social skills and internships involving you selling.
4) Your GPA will likely be shitty for the remainder of college. That is, unless you drastically make lifestyle and environmental changes.
5) Given this, focus on internships. Focus heavily on internships. Wouldn't hurt to extend college out, and take several off-cycle internships. Internships will allow you to build up your resume, and mask your likely shitty GPA.
6) Your parents would balk at you doing music, hip hop production or guitar. Justifiably so. Unless you have the money to independently support yourself, it makes more sense to focus on getting your career in order.
7) Again, college is rather difficult for those with ADHD. As is life after college. However, after college, you can rely on whatever strengths you foster.
Cheers
